ABOUT US
Sunway University Buddhist Society (SBS) was founded on 26th April 1990 by Mr. Cheah Seong Leang, Ms. Lim Tiew Ming, Mr. Tee Chwee Kiat and a group of passionate Sunway College students.
As of March 2022, the society has 39 members from Sunway University and Sunway College KL.
VISION
A welcoming Buddhist student community promoting confidence and the correct understanding towards Buddhism while supporting members in terms of self-development.
MISSION

To introduce a correct understanding towards Buddhism.
Buddhism is not a religion, it is a teaching and a way of life

One is encouraged to cultivate oneself at all times to control temper and generate loving kindness towards all beings

The teaching emphasizes on practicing the Middle Path
